ABOUT
Junkyard Stories is an original storyworld created by Nandor Moldovan, built around BLOCK 07, a megacity rebuilt after the Great War and the vast off-grid territories that surround it.
▋ The world stretches from towering megastructures to endless wastelands, from scraplands and chemical zones to landfills and old-city ruins.
Scattered settlements cling to life in the long aftermath of the war.
▋ Rather than following a single storyline, Junkyard Stories is designed as an anthology framework - a flexible narrative space for human-scale stories about survival, freedom, control, belief and adaptation.
▋ At the center of this world lies the junkyard. Not just as a place, but as a storytelling mechanic. Like campfires in old frontier tales, junkyards, scrap inns, and off-grid shelters function as gathering points where rumours, memories, warnings, and secrets are exchanged - outside the reach of centralized surveillance systems of BLOCK 07. They represent both decay and autonomy: zones of freedom that exist beyond the megacity’s control, but demand resilience, ingenuity, trade, and risk in return.
▋ Junkyard Stories is built as a transmedia-ready storyworld, designed to support games, films, series, animation, books, and interactive projects - each telling different stories within the same geographic and thematic ecosystem.
It is not a single narrative. It is a living territory, where stories emerge, collide, and evolve with every telling.
